Camera & Biometric Data
Biometric and camera image processing happens entirely on the client-side within your browser using local machine learning libraries. No photos, videos, or facial data are ever sent, uploaded, or stored on our servers.
The Camera Sizer feature processes your camera feed in real time using @mediapipe/tasks-vision, an open-source AI library that runs entirely within your browser's JavaScript environment. The video stream never leaves your device.
100% Local Processing
All ring size calculations — whether from the Screen Sizer or Camera Sizer — are computed entirely within your browser. Results are stored in your browser's localStorage, a private device-local store that we cannot access. You can clear this at any time by tapping the × on the size badge.
Data We Collect
- Server Logs: Standard web server access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) — auto-deleted after 30 days, used only for security and uptime monitoring.
- Analytics: We may use privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics for aggregate page popularity. No personal identifiers or tracking cookies are used.
- No Cookies: We do not set any tracking or advertising cookies.
- No Data Sharing: We do not sell, share, or monetize any user data.
Camera Permissions
The Camera Sizer requests camera access only when you choose to use it. This permission is optional — the Screen Sizer works with no camera at all. You may revoke camera permission at any time through your browser settings; this only prevents the Camera Sizer from functioning and affects no other feature.
